A quick update

Life is beautiful here at Pearson's Town.

The nights are getting cooler (just darned cold some nights), but the days are staying warm and in the 70's. The trees are beginning to change - always a harbinger of the season to come.

We have been harvesting to beat the band with the hope that the weather will hold and we can get one last crop of greens and some roots in. Always a gamble this late in the season.

The turkeys are getting big. Stu and I have been debating whether or not we will spare "Monsanto" the two winged, one armed turkey. One with authority thought it would be appropriate to "pardon" one of our birds as the president does at thanksgiving time. Perhaps we will save our little friend. After all, he is truly one of a kind.

We also officially welcomed Ms. Powell, and Ms. Dolan on board this week. They will be joining Mr. Brandes who has opted to stay on for one more season.

Exciting things are coming. . .

  1. I just found your blog and I love it!

Do you guys have any interest in beekeeping? I have invited someone to represent Maine bees/ beekeeping at our Fall Sustainability Festival on Sept. 29th. Perhaps you could speak to them?

Now...how do I subscribe to your blog?
